Work2bfree, it was actually a fundraiser for my church. My friend has been into AVON for years and has made good money from them, including trips to Paris and Rome and Australia. She was able to hook up the fundraiser. She gave out the books to us and we took them to our jobs. I had a taste of it and it was just too much for me. Chasing after people for the money, adding up the totals and the tax etc. She made it easer because she called and sent in all the orders. I didn't ahve to handle the inventory except to deliver it to the job. She did the ordering and accepting the delivery and dividing up and packaging the merchandise etc. I just don't have that kind of patience.
That's why I chose the travel industry. No deliveries, no ordering, and no handling of cash!
But for those who don't mind all of that, AVON is good. I did no work at all to sell the product. It sold itself.
