I have to disagree with you on this ablaye. I have made money although I did not become rich.

I do agree with you that many people do fail at MLM's but to me this does not make a MLM a scam.

I believe the reason so many people fail at MLM's is one, many have very unrealistic views. Many think they will be making lots of money in a few months and then can quit their jobs. Another reason for the high failure rate is when members of MLM don't reach their unrealistic goals, they quit. One last reason many fail is because most people do not have the skills to manage a business. Owning a business requires skills and these skills take time to develop.

I believe I failed at the MLM because I lacked the skills. I never owned a business and had no idea what I was doing. Being an extremely shy person meant I had a lot of things to overcome before I could run a business that will be successful.

I was a member of Herbalife for almost 4 years. Now 4 years or so later, I am a much better business person than I was when I was a member of Herbalife. Fear no longer prevents me from doing the things I need to do to grow my business; such as, talking to people, building relationships, putting out fliers, etc. I currently have much more confidence in myself.

I attribute my growth to my experience in Herbalife. Thus, my failure in Herbalife has helped me to improve in other ways. If you fail but continue to work on yourself and work towards your goal of achieving a successful business, you will find success in a work at home business at some point, quite possibly that success could occur within a MLM.

For example, not too long ago, I heard a woman on a conference call talk about her experience in failing in a MLM. She felt she needed to fail at that MLM so that she could find success in another MLM. She said that she was not ready for success in her first MLM. She is currently a member of another MLM and she is very doing very well. She found success in less than a year. She was able to quit her job in less than a year because she is making a lot of money and it did not take her long to find success in this MLM.

Another example is I am doing much better than I did when I was a member of Herbalife. I started making money during my third month in the business and I have been told that there are many people who have been in an online business and have never made any money.

My point is sometimes success takes time to occur. In other words, success is a process.
