It is good that the surgery helped for you; that it brought you some relief. I work with a lady who is having significant neck and back problems stemming from a car accident she had some years ago.
She goes to a therapist and chiropractor often. She can barely turn her neck. I think at one point she said that her doctor recommended surgery for her, but for some reason, she said no. So, she continues to go to her doctors often, but the results don't even last a week. I feel her pain because I remember the days I suffered from those back pains. Extremely painful...
