I have been cold calling for years. It just seems like every business i get into requires it. I'm pretty good at it even though it's not my favorite thing to do. I've made some excellent contacts through cold calling. It's all about catching people at the right time. It is a numbers game. The most important thing you have to remember is not to take it personal. I know that's easier said than done, but the faster you realize that, the better off you'll be. For every 10 no's there is a yes! Once you start making some good contacts, then it's all about referrals. Like the saying goes...."It's not about WHAT you know, it's WHO you know". Some people have built their entire careers around just a few good clients.
