As with any product you must examine it to see if its beneficial to you, it it meets your need, and it its of good quality. Its unfair to list all or most MLM businesses as scams. If you research MLM you will see its not a scam at all. Most businesses are MLM type. All it means is multi level. You have CEO the Senior VPs, VPs, Directors, Managers, etc It forms the shape of a triangle. That's all MLM is. Network marketing only means word of mouth. I cant tell you how many products I have bought or used because a frend recommended it. Or how many plays, concerts, movies I've seen because someone recommended it.
Now as far as a business is concerned. If someone says you will make money overnight, then you know you got a red flag. Business takes, time, energy and work. You do nothing, you get nothing.
If someone tells you to come to a meeting with money to pool together and every month someone gets that pool of money then you know its a pyramid! There is no product!
I agree with the above poster says about googling. Alot of what comes up are negative posts from competitors so you still won't get the real info. Put any company name with the word scam and you will be reading all night. Everything is a scam. Even BBB is limited, because all companies have complaints of one sort or the other. Remember complaints are not always legit. There are people who are professional complainers and who always wrte in complaints I met a woman who told me she does it all the time because she often gets cooupns or free products as a result!!
