I research only money saving strategies for my online business portfolio, so with that, here is my latest find I will explain. In a recession, people are all trying to save money to survive, but how many think of their survivors if die? Sadly, life insurance is something everyone puts off, and sadly, many put it off too long and families have been destroyed with the loss of a spouse as example. As most know by now, social media is exploding, and since I research everthing regarding online marketing, here is how I see industry evolving. Number one, the internet is maturing quickly when it comes to how people use the internet. Most are searching for information, and low price searches are becoming second nature to most as the recession is impacting everyone in these economically tough times.

Knowing how people are using the internet is important if you are ever to make money promoting online, so keep that in mind, most are looking for value, and with so many people promoting the same thing, it is much more difficult to make it online, so consider this. Most people who have been online and are seasoned surfers are not going to be clicking on PPC ads for the most part, so my advice is to not waste your money on Google Adwords as I have seen my Adsense revenues drop like a rock over the past few years while my traffic has risen, so this says it all, times they are a changing. lol

Simply put, just look at Twitter, the newest social media site which has become a huge success. It started out as useless posts of little interest to anyone other than the poster? I could never understand how all these useless posts would explode Twitter, but it did, so go figure, even I learn something new every day. lol With tweeting of millions every minute, you just cannot ignore Twitter, and now, what do we see, nothing but affiliate and business opportunties being tweeted. lol

The point is, if you are involved in the world of internet marketing, you have to stay in tune with changing trends, and just as Twitter was new angle for marketers, so too is YouTube. There is an obvious reason Google purchased YouTube, they know better than anyone that their goldmine Adwords PPC business was imploding for several reasons, first, most people click on only organic or natural search results now, not PPC ads which are loaded with junk for the most part, and second, social media is the future of internet marketing.

As a full time internet marketer, I research it all, you have to, and here is what I feel is the next trend. A recent study indicated 95% of all emails are being blocked now, even emails you want to get through or receive, yet they don't, so kiss email marketing goodbye, it doesn't work any longer. When you ad that to the declining results with PPC, and then learn that Autoresponders are not working as they too are now being blocked based on the new forbidden word list blocking, what is a person to do?

Well, just as we have seen direct mail drop, fax on demand die, FFA a waste of time, emailing being blocked and dead, and now predictive call dialers under attack my FTC, everything changes in the world of internet marketing.
Here is how I see future, social media is here to stay, and now technology is exploiting this new exploding medium just as had happened with Twitter advertising explosion.
