Default Does PPC work?

I have tried advertising my website on various PPC sites. Although it does generate the traffic to the site, I have not found it to be high quality traffic, it did not get me any sales, click throughs or improve my page rank. Have any of you had better luck?

PPC is just too expensive is you ask me. I think there are more cost effective forms of advertising than PPC.

PPC can be a very effective marketing campaign - so long as you do it properly. Whats important is that you know how it works and you bid accordingly for the right keyword - otherwise, it will eat up your finances.

PPC works, but why spend the money when you can get on the front page of google by using targeted keywords. For example, I just did a search for mlm failure and right there on page one is my You Tube video. I have a ton of key words that I use for different articles.

The key is branding. Google also loves social sites like this. So be sure to use your real name. Put your information on the profile so people know who you are.

I get most of my prospects, because they see my name on a forum, then they google me. Right there is my hub pages, my forum posts, my you tube etc. It gives me credibility that I am a real person.

Don't believe me? Go set up a hub page today. Post a good article then tomorrow do a google search on your name and see what happens.

So why would you do PPC when you get get prospects for Free?

I tried a PTP site recently and I have received quite a bit of traffic from it, however, none of the traffic is quality and doesn't stay long at all. I've also tried Google adwords with the same result only I had to spend money in that case. Definitely not worth it.

PPC works very well, but there is a science to it as well. Read up on it before opening an adwords account

Default Ppc

I have been very successful with google adwords and would definitely recommend. I agree that research must be done to get good keywords.

Adwords is still the best by far... But there are also smaller and neww PPC engines worth the try - for tapping other markets.

I use pay per click everyday. At first I spent a lot of money per day. The key is learning how to have every keyword relevent to the page the visitor lands on. The better your click through rate the less you will have to pay for the same position.
