How to promote your website in a forum? Simple answer....

You don't.

What you do is make sure you have your profile filled out with your name and the link to your website. Then respond to posts on the forum. Always focus on sharing good information that will help others. Also share things about yourself. And also don't be afraid to ask questions so that you can grow.

What will happen is people will start to get to know who your are and want to learn more about you, so they will visit your profile and then they will visit your website. Does this make sense?

The key is to understand that people don't really care about your company or products as much as they care about you. People join people, not companies.

That is why I always use my real name on forums.

Also, after you have your 25 posts your signature will begin to show up. The signature is another way for people to contact you.
