Traffic exchanges are a waste of time as far as advertising goes, unless you are trying to build a list. Trying to sell something? Don't even try it on traffic exchanges - it doesn't work.

I also wouldn't waste my time on Craigslist. You have to jump through hoops now to even place an ad, and once you do anyone who is viewing the ads can 'FLAG' your ad, which means it gets taken off. This happens 80% of the time when you are trying to sell your services or goods.

I really don't think too highly of any type of classified ads for getting business or selling something. Who really reads those ads? Do you? I know I don't. If I am going to use any classifieds, I usually use US Free Ads, Adpost or Backpage.

You will get many more sales and interest in your services by writing good articles and creating Hubpages.

I do not think paid-to-click work. At least not for me.
