I was told about this too by my sponsor, but it has been hard with having a full-time job to keep up with doing the ad every 3 days.

i understand with the having the full-time job but putting in that extra time for backpage is worth it. Like craigslist I always get a few hits from backpage as well. People like free classifieds and they have thousands of visitors every day.

OK ruspow. I just placed a couple of ads in backpage. I have used backpage, but I never really saw any results. I usually get better results with my online marketing; such as, forum posting, social networking sites, blogging, and more. I do a lot of this.

Do you feel that it would be beneficial to pay for the ad as opposed to just using the free service? I am trying to just use the free methods because this works for my pocket book best.

Thank you for your suggestion...

Backpage and craigslist were great three years ago but now its just full of spam and everyone trying to sell their own opptys. Not many actual buyers go to places like services for biz opps.

There are a couple of people in my business opportunity that I know of, who are doing very well with Craigslist.

I suspect their success has to do with the content of the ad, possibly the presentation and the frequency of ad placement.
