Default Marketing your website

One of the methods I am using to market my business is submitting my blog to directories. I have used a number of blog submission programs; like, ping-o-matic, pingoat.com, and PingMyBlog.com; just to name a few. One of the most challenging things about creating a blog is creating the content or aricle to place in your blog. There has been some arguments that your article should be long because you don't have to post as often to your blog. But, some would argue that your blog should be short so as to be sure readers can actually read through your blog. Which do you prefer, a long or short article?

I have started writing articles a week ago for some of the sites. They use to send me the topics on which I have to work. I am earning less as compared to others working from home.

Well, look at your article writing as an opportunity to work on a skill. As you improve, you can market your skill for more money. Also, you can submit your articles to directories for free and because you have become such a good writer, your articles, over time, will get recognized; which will bring you recognition along with any business you are involved in.

This is a good way to make money online. All we need is our knowledge. We sell our knowledge at our customer. We write what we know then send the articles to the articles directories.

You are so right Kereta06. It is also to share your knowledge. It is said that if you can teach others, then you have learned the subject matter.

I think shorter is better, but not always possible if you want to get your point across. I actually started a blog last week, but haven't been back since. I heard it's better when you write on your blog more often and then ping it each time. So I think I may go write in it right now. Come be the first one to comment on it, at wahtips.blogspot.com

Thanks
LISA

The articles for you blog should only be as long as they need to be. Keep your keywords in mind while writing, do not use contractions, even though you maybe in the habit of doing it quit. The reason being is that it will increase your word count without adding undue rambling.

Another thing that is a must is to proof read your article BEFORE publishing it. Yes, you can correct it later, but it looks much better if you do it right the first time.

Thank Pendelton and Lisa for your comments.

Lisa, I took a look at your blog. Nice job! Work at home tips for mom looks to be very informative. How old is you baby?

I don't have any children. I do have 3 pets. Two cats, Sasha May and Cornflake and one dog, a chihuahua, named Sugar. The dog is the baby in the family, if there is such a thing.

Thank you for sharing Lisa....

I end to keep my articles pretty short. Personally I find it easier to read and digest a shorter article so I assume that my readers feel the same. I also try to explain things in as simple a way as possible.
