I have a blog on blogger and I always replace my referral links with words because I use that to help my visitors know what the site is. I don't "hide" my link though because you can see it at the bottom of your browser when you hover over the link anyway.

Well I don't hide them because i don't use affiliates, but i do recommend that you hide them.. this will ensure that the user has to click to go to the affiliated website.

Good question, I forgot about the hover. I do replace them with words when I can. But most affliliates are offering banners now. I'm using them as often as I can.

I do not bother hiding my links. I would rather be honest and if peopel would rather not use my affiliate link then that is fine.

Yes, of course i hide my affiliate links on my blog because of the fact that many readers these days have become quite intelligent and will not click on any links which they feel is considered as affiliate links but they would normally click on regular links and hence there is more chance of more sales.
