As far as I know affiliate marketing is the easiest to make money online. If you target a specific niche that is in demand you can do quite well. And Adsense is good but you will need to drive more traffic to your site which can be difficult for beginners.

You are basically becoming a salesman for someone. Whether that is posting ads for them on your website or other mediums. Ultimately driving traffic.

Basically, with affiliate marketing you will choose a product or service that someone has already made and you just have to refer people to their site using the link that you are given. Each time a person that you have referred throuth your link buys a product, you get a comission.

Usually you have to set up a website or squidoo lense, and then drive traffic to it.

Affiliate Marketing can be time consuming at first, but can pay off if you stick with it.
