Is anybody here having any luck selling Amazon affiliate products?

I have had a go but have not made that many sales. I have two amazon bookshops on two sites and have made about $12 on one and less on the other so enough for a payout. I have had them for about 6 months.

I have tried using amazon affiliate programs in a couple of sites and a couple of blogs. Although i had some success in amazon affiliate program, but it is definitely not a money spinner for my niche. It suits well only for certain niches for sure.

Amazon is definately not my favorite either.

I've made a few bucks with Amazon, but not enough get excited about.

I guess it depends on which products you market. I've been successful with one little product that costs all of about $6. My site has sold quite a few of them, but that's because I have an article on my site that explains why the little $6 item is beneficial.

I guess I should use that same tactic on a larger more lucrative product.

Amazon has tons of products for affiliate marketer to sell. I use PPC method to make a sell, which is working quite well with Amazon products. But for me, it's hard to find a product to sell from Amazon since there are too many competitors. Everytime I find something interesting in Amazon, when I do some research on Google, there it is, same display URL, forget it.
