Start learning your basic HTML with CSS, your XHTML, then javascript/ajax, then PHP/MySQL. You an add a CGI (C++, perl, VB) later. This is for good hand coded pages which are cleaner and quicker than that wysiwyg crap from frontpage or even dreamweaver.

You will want to know about graphics too, if you want to be a well rounded designer/developer.

I also want to learn web designing. I started with FrontPage before back in year 2000. But I stopped it because I resigned from my job that time. Then I visited w3school back in 2006 but still don't have enough time to pursue.
