Does a good portfolio necessarily means a good job ? I don't think so. A portfolio can only supplement what you have, but it can't make you what you are not.

I think good portfolio is as important as anything. It is your brief introduction about you. It gives idea to the interviewer about you. I think we should never look down portfolio.

This is just my opinion,but I think a good portfolio is very important.When a company is hiring people they generally like to know what you're capable of doing.A good portfolio shows off your best work and therefore,gives you a better chance of getting the job.The person with the best portfolio is probably going to be the one who gets the job.
