Default Get Paid to Write Reviews - $10 for 10

Epinions.com has a promotion that just started today. They are paying $10 for 10 reviews. Must be 200 words or greater. You can earn up to $200 by submitting more reviews and they are running the promotion until they reach 30,000 reviews or April 30. I just found out about this last night and it sounded good to me.

Meant they pay $1 per view. I think shareadsview pay more than that .By the way dont forget to update us when you got paid. Another thing is if the promotion ended how much they will pay per review. Must be lesser right? But how much? I will take a look to that site anyway. Thanks

Did you ever think about writing those reviews for yourself and put them on a blog with Google AdSense? Instead of getting paid $1 per review, you can, over time, earn more than $1 per review on your own blog.

The more you write, the more you can earn. It's great getting $10, but once they pay you, you have to write more in order to earn more. If you have your own blog with ads on it, through passive income, you'll get paid over and over again.

That is a sad price to get paid for writing, even for a totally shiny new person to WFH.

tidbits is right, which is what this epinions.com is hoping for, people will use their site and give them the passive income, among other income possibilities. A big email list, lots of UVs from people coming to post their articles, and more.

That's true, but for someone who is looking to make a quick $10 (believe it or not, someone is looking), it is very easy to do! I have a blog, and I have Bidvertiser ads on it. I am sorry to say I haven't seen $10 yet in ad clicks over several months, and many, many posts. Theory is great, but I'm looking at reality. It takes time to build traffic. Without traffic, no clicks, no earnings. So, I could quick do those reviews (200 words goes QUICK) about something I am familiar with, like a movie, they only have to be satisfactory, to get paid. I still think it sounds like a good deal. This post was not intended for a professional. But, even professional say write, write, write. So, if you are just starting out, and writing is like exercising, even a meager sum is to be appreciated. Something beats nothing any day. I personally fit into that category and I feel that reviews are a good way to "get your feet wet" in paid writing.

I understand where you're coming from. It just pains me to see quality writers getting paid peanuts for their writing talents. To earn money on the internet it takes several income streams.

Here's another suggestion. If your blog/sites aren't generating the income you're looking for, in addition to writing for the low paying sites, write for content sites like Suite 101 or Associated Content. They will pay you over time.

I average about 1 or 2 articles a week with Suite 101. As a result, I get paid every month. Over time the value for each article increases. So, what I'm saying is that if you're writing 10 articles and getting paid $10, why not write 11 articles. Get paid $10 and put the extra article on a site like Suite or some other residually paying site. They will continue to pay you over time. Write once and get paid more than once.

In the meanwhile you can still maintain your blog and sites.

I have 3 sites, 2 blogs and am in the process of creating another site. I write for Suite 101, I also write for other online ventures and one or two off line ventures. The more money my sites begin to bring in, the less I have to write for other online/off line ventures.

All I'm saying is that from the post, I see you have writing ability. I just don't want you to give it away for free. It's something valuable and you should be paid accordingly.

I'm off of my soap box now. Sorry if I sounded preachy.

I see your point as well. In fact, I have recently reviewed several sites, BloggerParty and ReviewParty, that offer residual earnings and revenue sharing using Google AdSense. I plan on reviewing other sites as well, such as Helium, Associated Content, etc. I simply posted about this special to provide the info for anyone who might be interested in getting paid for reviews. This was "guaranteed" whereas click earnings is not. Yes, there is no residual potential here, but it is another "avenue" of earning that may interest someone. I recently did a review on SharedReviews (and posted about them as well) and I don't know what that review will earn, or when I will see earnings from it (though there is potential for residual). It is important to realize that what does not interest or fit one person, may fit or interest someone else and the original post was only intended to provide the information for that individual to further investigate.

I am excited about the many potential ways of earning online, especially in writing. I had not heard of Suite 101, so I will definitely be checking them out.

Don't worry about sounding preachy. We are just having a discussion, one that I'm sure will benefit someone.
