Default Forum Posting...

Is forum posting a feasible job opportunity? From experience, I find it's very difficult to complete enough posts per hour to make it really worth my while. Say it takes a couple of minutes per post, even at $0.15/post you're still only looking at $4.50 an hour which to me doesn't really seem worth it when I could write a 500 word article in less than an hour and be looking at around $7.50.

Does anyone here post regularly and if so, does it make enough?

You think it that way, but I think forum posting is relatively for easier job then writing posts. Thats my opinion, we may find it other way round. But it is worth doing.

I also do forum posting but I only do it part time. I started posting at .05 cents per post, now I'm at .25 cents. You can't really earn that big doing this but this is one of the easiest way to earn a few cents on the internet.

I have seen a lot of forum owners hiring paid forum posters to fill in their forums. Most of the times I post for a pay and ended up posting more than what is required because some of the forums that I am into helps me on enhancing my online career.

I don't think that they pay enough to make a decent income but sometims I cannot be too fussy if I need money and cannot find any other work. Also it is something different to do and you can learn some interesting things.

I found a great blog post for paid forum posting. International users often find limitations with other online opportunities, such as get paid to. With forum posting, no such barriers generally exist and they can earn as much as their US counterparts, given strong English, spelling and grammar. Combine that with a guaranteed rate, monthly payments, usually via PayPal, and it is an attractive option for anyone. Full time? Not for most US residents, but a nice way to supplement earnings.

I think it is a good idea to be active on forums first to get a feel for forums before applying for any paid posting position. Once you have at least a dozen posts, go for it! Most companies do not require any professional experience and you simply need to provide a writing sample (for example, can link to previous forum posts). Some sites may ask you to make sample posts.
