This will generally depend on which system (if any) you are using. If you are using the "bummarketing" system, they ask you to write at least 5 articles a day, which is a pretty decent rule of thumb anyway. If you are using a program such as "My Online Income System", they only ask that you write 1 article a day, but in turn you will be doing other things to market your pages (like posting in forums lol). I made my first dollar at after I had my 15th article published. I've also heard of people writing as few as 3 articles and beginning to make money. It really is going to depend on what you are marketing, and how effective your writing is. But your first sell should definitely come between you 10th-15th article, or you may be need to re-work the frame of your online business a bit.

It really depends on the research you do on the products you're writing about, I think. If you choose products that have huge gravities and lots of sellers, it could be tougher. But if you look for products that are potentially in demand but don't have a lot of sellers, these are generally the items that you can make a lot of money with. Sheer volume accounts for a lot, too. Writing as many articles as you can every day will ensure that you see some sales soon.

Rule of the thumb, if you are able to write well, then you should have no issues in getting others to click on the link to the product concerned. A good article will always attract a crowd whether it is one article or 15, the point is that if you are not able to write well, then you may need to get some one to do just that for you.
