Default Hiding your affiliate links

Hiding your affiliate links is a very important aspect on your affiliate marketing business. Why?
1. because most people when they see an obvious affiliate link are less incline to click it.
2. Does not look professional when you use 3ws.whatevertheirname/anything/your.id ,as you can see, also hard to pass around in email if it's too long.
instead use a url shortening service such as SwURL.cc
that way you are able to shrink those long URLs into something like this: swurl.cc/lb etc. As you can see, much more pleasing and easy to work with!
Anyone dis-agree?

All the best guys/gals
Let success be yours!

I agree with you. Sometimes the affiliate link is too long, it is best to shorten the link using some url shortening services. It can help to protect your affiliate link.

I agree with everyone. It is good to hide your affiliate links - I like to use TinyUrl.com because you can at least customize it.

Hope this helps!

It is very good to hide your link. It also makes you look like you have your own website.

Hiding or to put it better cloaking your affiliate links is crucial. I have put a how to guide on my blog on this very topic
Helps reduce the number of commission thefts and also is good for tracking clicks

I suppose those who have some money to burn could opt for buying the software
But cloaking your links is pretty simple and I for one cannot see why I should pay for something that I can easily do myself

well cloaking affiliate link is very important for me. it can prevent someone from hijacking our commision. by the way clocking your affiliate link makes you look like a pro. but i think using shorten service like tinyurl or something else is not going to make you look pro. I use affiliate warrior to cloak my affiliate link. for example:

my clickbank affiliate:
XXXXX.payday.hop.clickbank.net

and my website:
affiliatesmania.com

when i cloak it using affiliate warrior, it going to be like this:
affiliatesmania.com/payday.htm

it is much more good right? just want to share.. thanks..

My new favorite is bit.ly.
Great cloaker and gives you the option to post to Twitter.
