We use hostgator to host all of our sites and the great thing about them is they offer wordpress as part of their hosting package. If you are a newbie and want a site that you can completely control and get the way you want it, wordpress is the answer.

Hope this helps,
Eric McMillan

I've been building and maintaining websites since 2004. The technology has gotten so much simpler that some of these WYSIWYG programs make it as simple as typing into MS Word. Obviously the more bells and whistles you want on a site, the more complicated set-up and maintenance can be.

Since I've starting working from home, it's the content that I concentrate on now.

Building a website is not difficult at all. And your right it can be fun, but just having a website a promoting a product won't guarantee a income.
You will now need to generate traffic to your site and build a list. When l first started out l found this hard to do, but over time l learnt what methods worked the best.
Traffic + Conversions = Sales
Good luck to ya
