I have been at this Internet Business since May hoping i wouldn't have to go back to working at the office but have made a big fat 0 and must return to work part-time next week. Don't want to give up yet. I was working a program and because my disability check was late and i couldn't pay my fee they took it all away. Only me!!

For 2 years I am earning online and so far I am happy and satisfied. I am so thankful for this opportunity. At first it's hard but as you get along how the system goes it will just go naturally.

Just keep working at it. It can take time to build up your earnings, traffic to your website, etc. If you're in it for the long haul, hard work can really pay off.

Good luck.

I have found the 'paid to click' sites too time consuming. I've begun writing freelance articles for Associated Content and Demand Studios and am really enjoying it. Still have to put in my full-time hours doing transcription, but it's still from home and I do enjoy it.

The site I'm enjoying the most is my digital ebook site! This is truly auto-pilot for me and that's my ultimate goal to keep enhancing it to the point where I swap the effort put into transcription for the effort put into my digital eobok site!

Good luck to everyone, whatever you find to do that makes you happy and makes you money!

Not all sites that charge a fee to join are scams. But there are a lot of them out there so you're better off not paying any fees to be on the safe side of things. ;-)

Well said. There are some legit sites out there that charge a fee, but "you're better off not paying any fees to be on the safe side of things. ;-)"

I like the way you put that.

Default Any interested business partner?

I stumbled into this forum by accident. I received an E-mail about a home-based opportunity that looked too good to be true and one of the links led me to this forum. I am not looking for a home based business. On the contrary, I need business partners. I saw a posting in this forum from "a Frenchie in the UK" looking for work so I replied to her. This can apply to other interested persons as well.

Read through my response to the Frenchie in the UK:

Since you’re in the UK, I may have something for you and we may mutually help each other. If you (or other interested persons in the USA, Canada, Australia or the UK) are skeptical about this, it’s your right to be so. But hear me out, ask for complementary info then judge if it’s worth your while to be my business partner or not. I’m not a telemarketer, an affiliate or an internet marketer. I need real business partners who have commitment, motivation and good public relations.

My background: I’m an American citizen but I moved to France after my marriage and have been living here (Paris) for more than 23 yrs now. My children are like you. They grew up in France but they now live in London (one finished her Master’s there and is working. Another one is still pursuing his studies. ). Years ago, I used to audit accounts in Wall St. When I moved to France, I audited international projects, etc. However 5 years ago I created a business in NY from scratch (a medical spa). I did this because I wanted to spend more quality time with my parents who are getting older. Through my medical spa, I get to travel regularly to NY and see my parents and siblings.

Exactly a year ago, a spa client of mine introduced me to an amazing business opportunity. I don’t think I’m allowed to mention the name of the company but to summarize an independent Citigroup review: “Company X is the most talked about company in the industry because of its incredibly strong sales growth (111% per year during 4 straight years while its competitors are losing money or have sales growth of barely 2% per annum). It is a multi-level marketer of excellent, Swiss-formulated botanically based wellness and skin care products”. It has also been featured on several reliable TV channels. In fact, a Channel 13 feature refers to it as a recession-proof business (Citigroup review as well as video links to TV features available).

Needless to say, I generate a lot of revenues from this "low risk - low cost but positive cash flow" business every time I’m in NY or London. However, when I go back to France, the activity declines because products are not distributed in France where I am based. It existed for almost 30 years in the USA then it finally opened its doors to Canada, Australia and the UK only 2 years ago. Since this is still a new phenomenon in the UK, I figured I need to strike it in the UK while it’s still hot. I then shuttle back and forth to London to build my business. But the problem remains: I need business partners on-site (the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK). I am willing to personally invest in launching one’s business. No gimmicks or catch. Together, we can grow this business. There are many good and effective marketing strategies. If a strategy is followed to the letter, potential earnings are incredible.

NO DIRECT SELLING in this business - the technique is to SHARE these excellent products with your network of contacts then introduce them to this amazing business opportunity afterwards. I have products in both NY and London that potential business partners can use to start their business. I will dispose of these products on a First Come First Serve basis. Serious candidates only who have motivation, perseverance and good public relations. Of course I will guide you on how to succeed in this venture. Mind you, this is not a pyramid scheme, meaning to say that you can outdo me and create a bigger team than mine. I am generous to my business partners because I believe that if one’s team is motivated, we can all succeed. Let me know if you're interested ...

The FTC it seems is finally going to put a stop to the "bait" used on too many sites. Great idea....should save some people a little money......

Default The difference between a “bait” and a legitimate offer for a home-based business part

You might be surprised to find out that I too am for FTC regulations. This way, what you refer to as “bait” can be easily distinguished from a legitimate offer for a home-based business partnership. I simply responded to the message “Frenchie in the UK” who is searching for a means to generate income. Take note of the difference between a “bait” and a legitimate offer:

1. Countless internet home-based businesses ask for money. On the contrary, I’m the one investing to help launch one’s business. I’m not asking a single cent from that potential partner.
2. The products I’m going to give the potential partner to start his/her business are real and tangible Swiss-formulated, botanically based wellness & skin-care products, not the usual information products.
3. Unlike a lot of home-based businesses, my medical spa is not virtual. It literally and legally exists in NY and part of my business is done in London.
4. I don’t promise the moon like all these “earn $300 in 10 minutes” scams. I am honest enough to say that I do very well when I’m in NY and London but that my sales decline when I go back to France. This clearly shows that I need business partners on-site (USA, Canada, Australia and the UK) who can help me grow my business.
5. More importantly, independent reviews on this business are available. (ex: Citigroup’s industry in-depth report, ABC TV’s segment on “Women Millionaires”, Channel 13’s feature calling this business a “recession-proof job”, etc.).

One last note: As I mentioned before, this is my first time to join a forum (accidentally followed a link through an E-mail message I received) and when I saw the message of “a Frenchie in the UK”, I simply responded. I can definitely help someone like her and we can mutually benefit from this partnership without costing anyone except me a cent. I think the lesson I learned from this forum is not to even bother contributing ideas to the forum so that one’s intentions, no matter how noble they are, will not be questioned (which is normal, given all the scams these days).
