Can not be that hard to gain weight ....I have been doing it for 50 years.....

Most people are looking to lose the pounds.....

You might try a health food store....they sell powders that you can mix with juice to gain weight.....

I have been on both sides of the fence on this one and it is way harder to gain then it is to lose. I found that carbs worked for me on the gaining side. Do you do weights? It is a great way to gain muscle and get healthy at the same time as well

You'd be surprised how big this niche really is! People who can't gain weight want to gain it just as much if not more than the people who want to lose it.

A lot of it comes down to eating correctly and working out with weights. If you want to put on pounds, you have to eat and eat correctly. Look up Vince Delmonte and his program that is designed for people who have a hard time gaining.

you should really talk to a doctor or health professional. any change in weight (gain or loss) can have a heightened ability to negatively affect your overall health. i have a couple of friends who have been in your position and you'd be amazed at the vast differences in how they were advised to go about their goals.

everyone is different, please take the safest route possible to getting your body to its optimal size!

Checking with your doctor is always smart, but even doctors screw things up quite often

Lol it is a little ironic that I suggested a doctor. I tend to be one of those people who only goes when its necessary (like when I cut off the tip of my finger). Perhaps a nutritionist is a better suggestion.

The issues brought to mind like blood sugar stability, vitamin intake, bone density might sound a little out there but they're all things that need to be taken into consideration and usually a doctor is your best bet for the types of blood tests required. always good to cover the proverbial bases ya know?

Peeps, I am in the same boat as J12345678, I eat and eat and might gain a pound every three months. Yet I have been this way ALL my life. I stand 5' 5" and normally weigh in at 110 lbs. My advice is to see a doctor and be tested for thryoid function first, Celiac disease second if thryoid is okay, and keep up with your dental care. Also make sure you are taking a vitamin and mineral supplement that actually works, I use Vitality from Melaleuca which is 10x more absorable then store brands and I feel the difference. Also add more carbs and protien to your diet while still exercising.... do not forget about the cardio health.

My doctor has never been concerned with my wieght status since it stays consistant. But I was checked for thyroid and Celiac disease just to rule it out.

My new health concerns are not weight related: I have cervical dysplasia (severe on the brink of cancer), a herniated lower lumber disc, and a sufferer of IBS. Since I am currently 41 years old - a smoker - and a women he suggest I start taking Vitamins and stop smoking (of course). I tried several over the counter and online vits but never felt any different until someone pointed me to Melaleuca's supplements.
