Default Starting your own.

What would it take to start your own service.

Step One would be to take one of those online course to get certified. Go to Step Two if you are already.

Step Two would be to get a list of all the medical establishments. http://www.infousa.com is one source for this information. You can also get the information together to find your competitors.

Step Three would be to find out what your competitors are charging.

Step Four would be to get a campaign going using direct mail with a follow up letter, both outlining your services, a bit about your fees, and why you are the best one to do the work. You then tell them to go to your web site to find out more. You can do this small and scale up as you want to. Sending out emails will probably not be as effective and could hurt you if someone reports them as spam. This would not be a good start.

Step Five is to expand your services and scope of your business.

Step Six is the most optional, but, once it is big enough to be worthwhile you can sell it and either retire or start another business.

Thanks for the information. I am really interested in doing this but most of the sites that come up first on google just look like scams as they normally require me to register then pay a fee. Where is the trust on the net?

Before starting your own service. You should probably go through an established service and see what they do. It is easier to copy success and learn from them. Rather than make costly mistakes along the way because you are new at it.
