Cool Building Your Local Team

I strongly trust in my team and they in turn do the same for me, which means they stay working hard toward the goal of the team as do I. I know everyone is trying to turn to the internet exclusivly but I continue to see great results from local teams I have build along the way.

That being said I would like to encourage you out there that are not bringing in the income they need off the internet to try building a local team as well. recruit in stages, and let everyone know you are excepting the mentoring challenge. work with the people you have consitantly, once they are started take that team out to show them how to "make money on the ground". They will have a much easier time taking what they do seriously as well as make it work for them once they can aquire leads on the net.

Now dont get me wrong I do use the net for a good amount of the buisness I take in. But Driving traffic, building sites, joining sites, autoresponders and all the other tools on the net can be too much for someone with average pc skills. In my experience Helping build a small team with real results as a first step is the best way to keep people working with you. once they find there groove you can grow off of each other both on the net and face to face.

Its not a huge step but some get so blind by the possibility of making great money they forget that meeting people is the key, not just selling your buisness to everyone you talk to. Be a little 007, meet some people that want to do more with the extra time they have. Be happy to help them get that first client. and regardless where the lead comes from know how to talk to them first.

Best to all that are there own boss. could be the best one you ever had..

I agree, The key to MLM is the relationships that you build. I have an uncle that has been in MLM for the past 15 -20 years. As long as I remember growing up he never had a real job just a lot of big houses. I take his business advice as gospel. Whatever online strategies that you use are great but to build that long term relationship you have to pick up the phone and make it a point to get face to face with your top distributors and make sure they do the same.

How do you recommend going about finding prospects for a good local team if you don't have an friends or current contacts that are looking for a MLM opportunity?

I was thinking about putting a ad in craigslist or something looking for a local team in my area that can get together and take on the internet. Maybe something like 6 people. It would be easier to form a bond with each other, don't you think?

This is a great idea, and I have done some of this myself. I put little ads in free local papers and a few people show up at the coffee shop and the first one or two that come in are get all the rest of the people that come under their team. The word has spread and then the people are making money instantly. The program that I am building has been grown very rapidly, and pays well so it's and easy to build. There is no fee and you earn actual money, so that makes it a no brainer. Anyway, the local team building is a great way to go.

I agree with the part about building a strong network of people especially as a first step you want to know that you have people who are really committed to success. I find as long as you are able to invest in the time of joining websites and learn how to effectively brand yourself and your team you will achieve major success

Start a group at meetup.com that for your local area, by county several cities from from you are to get local meetings going. Place ads up that inquire about others who are associates within the same industry and or company your are partnered with.

I have a Watkins bumber sticker on the lid of my laptop. Most people that are older have heard of Watkins. And they come up to me and ask if I sell Watkins products.
