Hi I love my pets - 2 persian cats and an 8 month old puppy called Phoebe

I retired 7 months ago and couldn't have a dog before because of work, so now I am at home much more I am able to have the dog I have wanted for years a Lhasa Apso. She is delightful, just needs a bit more training!! She gets on well with the cats and sometimes they all sleep together - what a lovely sight.

They are my friends.

I like cats because they are so independent and therefore easy to look after. Also like dogs but I feel you need to be retired and have plenty of space for them. Can't stand spiders!

I love most animals too! Cats I don't really like. My mom is deathly allergic to them so I just have never been fond of them. But I have beautiful pappillon/poodle mix! He's a good lap dog. But I absolutely love turtles! I don't know why. But I got to see a desert tortuise in Arizona a few months ago. They are an endangered species. You can't pick them up or else they die. Long story but it was so cool to see it. They are beautiful creatures!

As a child our family had a boxer. great dog and so loyal if properly trained. Next we had an akita, or the japaneese bear hunting dog, which is actually the cuddliest mammoth of a dog i've ever seen. at the age of ten we had to put him down. then we got a wire haired pointer. these dogs are commonly known as hunting dogs. if you want a dog that absolutly loves you to death and is always ready to play i reccomend this dog. they are also smart as heck.
i also have a cat that just won't die. its a black domestic and it hates people. i pick up its poop and it scratches my couch... gotta love it lol
