reading, writing, running on the treadmill, riding my recumbent, watching old movies, browsing antique and junk stores, hiking, laughing and helping others laugh....to name a few....

My hobby was painting...find it very relaxing.....
I am in the process of building a site to try to sell some of my art.....

Should be up in a week or so.....
We tell new marketers to go with their hobby and turn it into money...well why not?.....

I can think of no better advice for anyone who is looking to start their own business than to take a hobby or interest and exploit your knowledge or talent and convert it to a business. If you can't enjoy doing what you are doing, why do it was my early lesson in life.

I took my passion for exotic cars and turned it into a business as an international broker locating classic and limited edition motorcars and turned it into an international business. But as I also learned, nothing lasts forever. lol With economic collapse worldwide, you have to diversify well in advance of collapse, which I am happy I did since I went through previous recession.

Simply put, live and learn, and every day is a learning experience, especially when frequenting forums like this one. You never know when a hobby or interest level will lead to a whole new career, it sure opened up my eyes when I discovered my hobby and knowledge could earn me a living for many years just because I started to share my knowledge with others on a forum similar to this. The power of giving to recieve has always been one of my key strategies ever since in all I do.
