Actually Grady, there are ways to make money from real estate without putting money down. ONe way is to find someone who does have the money. You find the buyers of the property, but putting out fliers or advertising and/or you can be the one to fix-up the properties. You workout a deal with your investor by constructing a contract between you and your investor or investors.

Another way is if you see a property that is not selling, you can talk to the owner and work out a deal with him or her, have a real estate agent or real estate attorney create the contract. You can earn money that way.

There are so many creative ways to earn money through real estate.

I'm sure there are. I've heard enough stories to believe it is possible. I just haven't had the time yet to really look into doing it.

Yes, it is possible. I bought one of my properties from someone who did just that. He made a deal with the home owner, helped him to get the property fixed up, partnered with others in purchasing this property, sold the property and made him some money.

As the saying goes, if there is a will, there is a way.

I'm wondering if it's a good time to buy a home even if it's not where you're living, like in another city. Probably more trouble than it's worth...
