Default Newspaper Advertising

I am currently looking into doing an ad and submitting it to a national newspaper advertising my website. I presume i would write the ad the same way i would a google ad etc.

Has tried this type of offline advertising or has anyone had alot of traffic from newspaper ads?

I personally have not used newspaper ads .. just because it's not in my budget right now.

Keep the ad short and to the point, include your website.

Make it peak their interest.

Best Wishes,
Beth

Personally, I don't think newspaper advertising is a good idea, unless you write a small classified that doesn't cost very much, but even this might not be very effective. The reason I say this is because when you are doing newspaper advertising, you are going to reach a very "broad" audience, and what you really need is a "targeted" audience. It might be better to advertise in a magazine that is focused on your target customer, but I would only do this if you have a very professional looking website.

There are so many places online where you can promote for free, including online classified ads. And you can post those ads for free, where as newspaper classified ads cost money.

I would recommend the online option.

Yeah I would prefer online ads as well, especially if you want to reach a certain audience
