Default Ebay

Could anyone please give me some input on selling on ebay for one of the stores that advertise they do all the shipping, all you do is sell for them. Is this a good way to work from home?I dont want to get scammed again, but need to find a way to work and make money from my home. I dont have a lot of money to get started, thought this would be good. Any advise?

I am also wondering about this. I have several items I could sell on Ebay for some extra cash but I would like to know if it is better to just do it myself rather than depend on someone else or some other company? I hope someone can answer this thread!

If you are just starting out on Ebay it is probably best to only sell items that you have in your physical possession . Drop shipping is full of scam company's that will take your money and not send the items leaving you holding the bag .

I am planning to sell on Ebay. I agree that if you are still starting the business you better start off with the things on your physical possession. This way you can gain positive ratings from your buyers.

I would agree too. you ned a good feedback rating on ebay to attract high prices. I woudl sell a few of your own things first and build up a reputation. Also it will give ayou a chance to learn how the sites work and establish a system for tracking sales etc.

I think the better way to success with ebay is be a buyer first and from there we built our reputation. After that we can start try become a seller or maybe I can suggest to you using BANS.

Ebay is a good avenue. My son is 17 and he has been selling hockey equipment on ebay for the last year. He makes over 100 dollars a week. He found a wholesaler and just resells on ebay. So I would have to say it works

I just attended an eBay class on the basics of selling items there. The instructor (who is an authorized eBay instructor) has been a power seller on eBay since 1999, and he sell most of his item from dropshippers. He said that there are some good one and some not-so-good ones out there. He has been doing business with one particular dropshipper for the past 4 years and has had absolutely no problems with slow shipments, additional payments, out of stock items..... He has made a pretty good living selling this way. I'm thinking about giving them a try after I sell a few items of my own to learn the ropes.

Drop shipping was a way that i looked into making money online. It looked great and i had a go at it but never sold anything. I do believe this was mainly due to my lack of feedback and the products i was selling were not the cheapest.

The other problem i found with it is that on Ebay there are very competitive prices and by the time you have put a small amount of profit onto the product you are either the same as everyone else or more expensive.

It's certainly something you have to do a lot of homework for to see what is best.
