^^ You only need to submit to smaller engines. The big ones have their bots that scour the web for new sites to index - all you need here are dofollow backlinks

This is a great thread isn't it? I admit I knew very little about SEO until I started taking some free webinars. Using what I learned on those webinars, I started finding my blog posts and classified ads showing up on the first page of google. I started getting more inquires and leads about my Travel business. So I would say that SEO bumps a website out alot!

If you go to the site and look on the header under webinars, there will be a list of dates that the webinars are occuring with the link to register for the FREE webinars. If you don't find it PM me and I'll forward it to you. yesterdays webinar was excellent.

SEO is the real deal if you really want organic and targeted traffic from the Search Engines. Its one important part of online marketing that shouldn't be left out IMO

shadowhunt: how much you can bump depends on several factors. you can be number spot if you do what your competitors do and do something extra..... in theory it can achieved but I will concentrate a smaller niche of a profitable market before i hit no spot with some general keywords like hotels...
