Everyone has a dream pagerank. Be practical. Dont say 9 or 10.
My dream Page Rank is PR6. Its totally achievable. But I need atleast 4-5 years old domain for that.

I would rather opt at getting top rankings in SERP than Page Ranking. That is where traffic comes from and not Page Ranking

But since we are on the subject, I would want our directory to have a Page Ranking of 7 soon

I would say a pr6, I'm not sure you can get much higher unless you are google themselves

Page Ranking 4 is enough, and easy to achieve... PR6 well, you need lots of quality links I guess... but I wouldn't worry too much about it

Well said. Don't be concerned with what your Page Ranking is or isn't. Rather, be concerned with creating unique content to help you rank well in the search engines. If you are getting thoudands of visitors each month and you are eaning money, who cares what your page rank is!

Forget about Page Ranking I rather be rank in the top three for my search keywords.

mine will be among top 10 (1st page)

of course we all dream to be the number on the first page with Page Ranking 6
