I don't know if it was in this forum, but someone somewhere mentioned Associated Content in a posting.

I checked it out, re-wrote a couple articles that I had written for a legal journal back in my attorney-days and about 10 days later, Ta-Da! $32 buck in my paypal account PLUS now I've got residual income building each time someone views my articles somewhere on the web.

Who knew?

Just one more way to make money on the web. It won't be my only source of online income, but it will definitely be in the mix from today forward.

  

Thanks so much for letting us know that someone has found something that really works and really pay. After trying so many sites and leads that didn't pan out; I had been putting off checking out Associated Content. Now, thanks to you, will.

Two other places that I use for definate weekly income is Demand Studios and eHow. They are not the biggest pay for freelance writers but they do pay the bills while someone is starting an affiliate business or just wants to work from home

Thanks for the tips. I think many people shy away from these programs, because it is a lot of work. I like the idea of content distribution (or re-distribution). Just have to stay away from the duplicate content issues. Probably is a good way to create good backlinks, too.

Corporate blogging is the way I started, and it forced me to learn how to set up Wordpress blogs. Then again, WP is great for setting up niche site for yourself to create some addtional passive income.

That is great, you made that money with associated content. Did they buy your articles or is that the revenue sharing? I wouldn't mind trying out revenue sharing sites out, but I need money now them.

Writing articles is still a bunch of work. I am looking for ways to push the envelope in terms of traffic.

Write your own content on your own sites I think. It will payoff better in the long run.

I write for ehow too. Although I haven't written many articles like others have, I have been paid several times. Don't expect a lot of money right away--but over time you will build up your residual income. Some of my articles only earn pennies a day, but pennies do add up over time!
