this may sound funny but I live by advertisement. I get my message to everyone use social network sites, send bulletins, emails etc and be personal dont sound like too much of a generated message.

print flyers with your information website etc. and hang them everywhere, back of bathroom stall doors, community bulletins usually at parks, librarys, colleges etc

have a shirt made with your information/website

leave flyers in coffee shops like on the table, in newspaper stands..

Treat it like a job, make a goal and push yourself.

This is really good advice as well try craiglist, I see people who advertise on eBay in clever ways as well by selling there business card or store catalog, also there are some sites that are free based in military neighborhoods these are my fave such as hollomanyardsales.com and so on tinkeryardsales.com just google air force bases and then put yardsales.com on the end.

Additionally, if you're not comfortable with your own writing skills, find someone who can write it for you, there's no shame in utilising every possible avenue that you can to help boost your income potential. I've also noticed that the more you research, the more you'll find, and talking with people through blogging sites et. al is a great way to get your name out there.

The most important thing is to take action everyday. You can't just do a little here and a little there. The secret is consistant effort every day.
