I've seen a few people that have their own URL's, however its to a blog. For example, it has the www.------.blogspot.com or something like that, however it looks just like a website?

How would one accomplish this?

I'm not sure what you mean about turning into a web site - you can get a web site built with a blog on it - plenty of people out there wil do that for you. I use WorPess - that's sort of cross between a blog and a web site....

Thanks for your reply, maybe that's what I say. I'm new to blogging and started on blogger which REALLY looks dull, and like a "blog". This looked more professional and almost like a website. I'm in the process of switching over to WordPress, I just haven't had much time to do so.

Do you have Google Ads on your blog? Do you have any ideas of how to get more traffic to it?
