Default Prevent Scam

How many of you have been scammed? I have been scammed maybe 2 times and it was not a fun experience.

The one positive aspect about being scammed is that most of us learn from that experience. After being scammed, many of us start taking some precautions as a means of preventing from being scammed again.

To be honest, I believe the reason I was scammed is because I was a little too greedy. I saw an ad about not having to do hardly any work and I could still earn tons of money. Yeah, right. What I learned from this experience is if the promise of wealth sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

If you know someone who is making a lot of money in a short amount of time after joining a business, this person or persons probably already has the communication and sales skills in place. He or she also probably has some ideas on how to market their business.

Not many people new to having their own business have sells, marketing or communication skills. They must be developed and some develop them faster than others.

My point is that you need to be careful in your selection of a company to join. Don't pay too much attention to the testimonies or the promises of wealth. Do your research first. Ask questions. Be sure to talk to more than one person before you make your decision. Be smart in you decision making and you will eliminate the possibility of getting scammed again.

You got that right, just like buying a car, research, research, research, and then, more research. Part with your money when it is right for you.

Yes, you are correct Pendelton. Unfortunately, I had to find out the hard way. Live and learn.

You are in the minority too work, I've seen in the past that the people that have been scammed often become cheerleaders for scams, trying to suck others in so they can get their money back from the losses they have suffered.
I think, after all the crap I have seen, that cheerleaders are worse than the scam artists themselves.

I have morals. I could not do a business that I don't feel good about. I have always believed that what you put out, you get back. If you put out the bad, you get the bad. I prefer to put out the good. This way, I am assuring the greater possibility of getting the good in return. The power of attraction.

Google everything bro, there aren't many scams out there that have evaded public attack. For an example google Simon stepsys and see what that brings up

Default Learning from others

Sweetestmiracle, I am not sure what I did, but you are welcome.

You can learn alot from forum posting. I learned quite a bit from others through posting to forums. To find people in forums who are knowledgeable and helpful, pose questions in the forum.

Posing questions and responding to other people's questions helps to build relationships with others in the forum. I have met others in forums who have helped me to learn about network marketing.

I started only a little under a year ago, but I have learned quite a bit in the short amount of time I have been involved in network marketing. Posting to forums is a great way to learn and build relationships.

You are so right. I have built a few relationships inside the system that I joined. Without their help, I would be really stuck. I know I am still a newbie and have along ways to go, but WOW when I read through the forums, the things that I was confused about, someone had shared information that has helped me to understand better.
As for the scams? I was scammed 2 times and it has taken me 2 years to get back in. I have done a lot of researching, and well, here I am giving it another try. Baby stepping as I go.

Yes baby steps are important. The thing is not to get taken by others who make promises of great wealthy. There are exceptions, but the rule is that prosperity and wealth takes time to make happen.

If you want prosperity, wealth, and freedom, you need to first learn the basics of network marketing, such as, marketing, sells, and effective communication. Some learn quicker than others, but no matter how long it takes you, you need to hang in there and learn as much as possible and grow as much as possible. The more you grow, the more your business will grow.
