Default Data entry jobs is a scam?

This is not a scam at the beginning but people manipulated this thing to scam other people. Actually there is because of some people who just took advantages on it. They compile all the survey and GPT program then saying that they provide home business for us to do data entry job but once we enrolled by paying some fee which normally $47 we will only given a bunch of program that free to join. Anybody ever experienced this ?

I Just looked into that company. I was wondering if it was too good to be true. Is it worth it to pay the $47. Do you make enough money to get that initial $47 back?

After doing some more research on this company, I am not confident in their sercurity regarding my personal information. When I advanced to purchasing the program, I recieved a message to "enable cookies". This is a red falg for me. "cookies" on your computer are little bits of information that the internet produces and draws from; such as personal information or credit card info, stuff like that. My security setting on my computer inform me that third party cookies can take my info and share it with others. I don't like that. So though they may seem like a reputable company, I decline the offer because I don't want my info going to anyone I don't know.

Any sort of job offer that requires you to pay any money to sign up is most likely a scam. You should never have to pay any money to get a legitimate job such as a data entry job.

Any company that asks you for money for training materials or anything like that is a SCAM. You should never pay to get a job...EVER. Pay for a BG check only after you have already gotten an offer of employment letter. HTH

I think "scam" is an overused word. There are many legitimate companies out there that will charge you for training materials that do work if you follow the instructions and work their programs. If you've ever started a business, you know there are start-up costs involved. Working from home is no different. Some of these programs are like educational courses. You would not hesitate to pay for an education. But too many people think that if you have to pay for a home business program it's a "scam". My advice is to do your homework. You will probably find something negative on just about anything you research. Even the best companies have unhappy customers. But in the end, you have to go with your gut.

It's true that some companies require pay to learn the training and will make you money after that, but I believe the majority of jobs you pay for are ones to be really wary of. Do research before giving anyone money!

I agree with the other posters. ANY "job" or opportunity that requires money for you to start, apply or get a "startup" package is a scam.

No legitimate job will ever ask you for money up front. Just think of it this way, when you apply for jobs in the workforce, do they ask you for a check before submitting your application?

Its a clear way to tell a scam....

The only legitimate data entry jobs I have found are freelance jobs. I started out doing freelance data entry projects and that eventually led into getting longer projects, which then led me to Virtual Assisting projects. Freelancing is the best way to start -- then you build up clients and can go from there.
