You discovered the sad thing about PTR, PTC, or any PT program. Unless the rates are low they are impossible to do. That is why so many of them are ponzi scams, needing the new members to 'upgrade' so they can pay the older members. The money from the advertisers can not pay much.

Affiliate programs will pay you better, and are usually legal, so look around to see what strikes you fancy.
