Default How to Avoid Scam Sites

I would advise that you carefully look at teh site and if they are making claims that seem to too good to be true then be very cautious. Never pay out anything to a company in advance. the best guarantee is getting assurance from an unbiased person that they have been paid .

Proof of payment seems to be not enough to judge that a company is not a scam. Within the site itself you can tell that they are a scam one. If the site does have a lot of ads placed and they are asking for an upfront payment. There can also be companies that are asking for an upfront payment that are legit. Some of them are the investing sites. Tough I haven't tried them yet but a lot of my online friends are earning from those investments sites.

Any site listed on talkgold, moneymakergroup, hyipdiscussion, and their ilk are scams.

See the link in my sig to learn more about spotting scams, and fun ways to make the scammers days go bad.

Just keep in mind that you should never pay to work. I dont care what the companies claims are. Real companies wont need your money in order for you to work. Think about it this way too...if you had $45 or however much to invest in a training packet, then why would you need the job in the first place? LOL doesnt make any sense!

When I became a medical transcriptionist, the company provided completely free training, but I was required to show up with the books - which cost about $100! I was broke and thank God my aunt helped me out. I graduated and worked in the office for 6 months. I have been working at home for 7 years. Just an example that sometimes an investment is necessary to take advantage of an opportunity. I would never trade going back into a office. If I wasn't willing to invest $100 in a new opportunity, I would have lost out. I don't see online (reputable) companies as being any different. Sometimes you need to make an investment in your future. Careful research is a must, especially online.

You have to do a lot of research on the internet before you get committed to a work-at-home opportunity. Internet is a place for many useful resources, at the same time there are many scams going around. So you have to be careful before choosing any kind of opportunity.

Great opp today and become scam tommorro. Internet biz move fast if they are selling how to make money info on web and do not have tangible products like banana. Easy distinglish scam, will be scam in week, will be scam in month, or solid biz.

Advise? never put credit, debit cards on computer. If sniff around, you can get lots of stuff free. website, hosting, own forum, ads etc.

I dont know if i agree so much i think the best way to tell a scam is just to go for it. i joined a free work at home thing..the site looked bad and cheap, everything seemed to easy, but come to find it its actually legitimate. u just have to take the risk if u think its something u wanna do.

If it is a free site, then you don't have much to lose - unless your time is worthless. Take, for example, surf sites. Individuals have surfed for "months" to finally reach payout and then find out it was a scam site. Especially with those types of sites, you really need to do your research. Who would want to invest weeks or months in a program only to find their time was wasted? There is too much information on the net. Someone has been paid. Someone has a favorable comment. Likewise, someone may be warning others not to go down the same path! Best example I can give is SurfJunky - online for 6 years, lots of warnings posted, yet they are still doing business. You can't judge by appearances, site looks good. Just do a quick Google search on the program name, any program name, followed by word scam. That quick tip can save lots of wasted time!

ALways make sure you check out the company on BBB, and ripoffreport.com and other sites like this. You should never have to pay money for an online job. Online business oportunities however are different and usually require startup costs. Just make sure you know the difference between a job and a biz op and always research the company first!
